Let Us Help

Living in the residence halls is about more than your room — it is about being part of a dynamic and supportive community, both academically and socially. Our primary goal in the residential communities is to assist you in building connections to the larger University community in hopes that you will become an active participant in University life and gain a greater appreciation for community values and service. The Offices of Housing Services and Residence Life are committed to creating residential communities that support the University’s mission, values, and Catholic identity, and offer a variety of intellectual, spiritual, social, and academic experiences and opportunities.

At Catholic University, students choose from a variety of living options. In particular, first-year students:

  • Live in rooms that offer highly interactive, community-based living coupled with programs directed toward students’ personal, spiritual, and moral development.
  • Benefit from living with their peers as they make the transition into college life.
  • Consistently find a focus on faith, community standards, and personal development throughout their residential experience.

As an enrolled student, you can begin the steps below if you have not done so already. Please note: your enrollment deposit also serves as your housing deposit. You do not need to pay an additional housing application fee.

Next Steps

Dining plan selection is made in MyHousing & Dining by selecting the "Dining" section in the left-hand menu. New students are provided with two plan options that provide them with unlimited access to the main student dining facility (Garvey Hall), a meal exchange option to use at the Pryzbyla Food Court and Murphy's Grill, and dining dollars that students can use at Starbucks and The Pryz Market. You can review the available dining plans on the Dining Services website.
