Studying abroad at Catholic University's Rome Center gives students an opportunity to live and learn in the Italian capital. Our location among Rome’s abundant museums, restaurants, and shops means students have endless opportunities to explore Italian culture. Plus, our proximity to Rome’s churches and ancient ruins places them in the center of Roman Catholicism and of Western history.

As the home of the Roman Catholic Church and filled with thousands of beautiful churches, Rome is a haven for students to explore the Catholic faith and its rich history. The city offers endless opportunities for theological research, inspiration, prayer, and maturing in faith. Just walking distance from the Vatican, our campus is ideally situated for students to get the most out of their time in Rome.

The Rome Center is located within the vibrant Trastevere neighborhood— an area bursting with restaurants and shops that mix locals and tourists in the lively bustle of Roman life. Traditional Italian food, markets, coffee bars, gelato shops, and more await students every day just down the hill from our campus.
