Let Us Help

Parents & Families

We know that as a parent or family member, you want your child or loved one’s college years to matter.

At Catholic University, we want the same — and more. We share a common goal of helping students gain essential skills, mature and grow in character, experience or deepen their spiritual foundation, and find meaningful career success.

We want to equip you with the information you need to foster a positive college experience for your child and help him or her to become a capable, virtuous, and joyful adult.

Admission Information for Parents and Families

Family Participation

We offer parent and family-oriented programs to allow you to participate in shaping your child’s college experience.

Student Living

Living away from home can be a challenging, yet incredibly rewarding, time for students. Our student life resources are here to help students thrive as they transition into college and adult life.

Billing and Financial Aid

The Office of Enrollment Services manages billing for student accounts through a fully electronic system that enables parents to view current and past bills, due dates, and cumulative billing and payment activity. Budgeted payment plans are available. Over the last three years, 95% of our first-year students received scholarships and/or grants directly from Catholic University through our Financial Aid Office.

Health and Wellness

Taking care of one’s whole self — body, mind, spirit — is an essential part of dealing with the challenges of college life, time management and the transition to adulthood.

Academics and Career Success

Our academic and career offices work to ensure that each student’s academic journey is conducive to his or her scholarly flourishing and future career success.

Student Safety

Student safety is our highest priority. Our offices strive to create a campus environment that is conducive to learning, working, living, and visiting.

Smart Start

Smart Start is a two-day orientation program hosted by The Office of Disability Support Services for any incoming students with a documented disability. The purpose of the program is to prepare students and their families for the transition to university life by introducing various academic, social, and other campus resources and personnel.
