The M.S. in Electrical Engineering program is a 30-credit-hour degree program.

The program offers both thesis and non-thesis options. The non-thesis option requires a minimum of 30 semester credit hours (SCH) of approved coursework, while the thesis option requires 24 SCH of coursework plus a thesis comprising 6 SCH of research guidance. At least 18 SCH must be in approved electrical engineering courses, with the remaining courses in engineering and science disciplines approved by the graduate coordinator.
