Students completing a minor in Actuarial Science will prepare for a career as professionals who measure, analyze, and manage financial risk and uncertainty. The program combines tools from mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, and accounting to assess financial risks facing our society. Upon completion of the program, students will be ready to join the workforce in insurance, banking, federal and state pension programs, employee benefits departments, consulting, and many other fields.
