Senior Vice Provost for Research
H. Joseph Yost, Ph.D., Senior Vice Provost for Research, acts as the Chief Research Officer at Catholic University. In this role, he stewards campus research resources to foster high-quality research and creative activity, including the distribution of funds for research centers and institutes, equipment, facilities, faculty startups, bridge funding, and other internal research awards. He additionally works to advance collaborative research partnerships with federal agencies, corporations, foundations, and research networks to support the scholarly efforts of the talented and dedicated faculty and staff across programs. He interacts with counterparts at other universities to facilitate collaborations that enhance campus connections with peer-leading universities and other national and international research community partners.
