As the world comes to terms with the implications of generative AI’s technical breakthroughs, the University will bring together academics, policy professionals, and technologists for a one-day, cohesive conversation about the subject on Jan. 31. The conference is aimed at policymakers, Congressional staff, think tank experts, the media, and the general public.

Masters in Public Policy

The School of Arts and Sciences will launch a Master of Public Policy program that places the human person and the common good at the center of public policy design and implementation.

The building will double the space available for the University's nationally-ranked nursing program. The gothic-style building will feature multi-functional clinical learning and instructional support areas, including simulation labs for acute care and clinical examination training, flexible classrooms, a large auditorium, study areas, administrative offices, and various common areas.

The West Campus Solar Array Project will generate approximately 10,000-megawatt hours of renewable energy annually.  Two solar arrays comprising over 15,000 panels will be installed on about 25 acres of the University's West Campus. Panels have been installed and finishing touches are being added for an expected spring opening.

The University is powered by clean energy and hosts the largest solar installation in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and 100% of the electricity used on campus is purchased with Green e-Certifications.

New Additions to the Pryz

The bottom floor of the Edward J. Pryzbyla Center will become the home of the campus post office, as well as the spirit store and bookstore.
