As the academic year kicks off this Monday, Catholic University is unveiling exciting new additions that promise to enhance your experience on campus. Here’s a glimpse of what’s debuting and how you can explore these new features.

Nursing School’s New Home

The Conway School of Nursing is ready to welcome classes next week. (Catholic University/Patrick G. Ryan)

Students will begin their classes in the state-of-the-art Conway School of Nursing building on Monday. This 102,000-square-foot facility boasts cutting-edge features, including:

  • Multi-functional clinical learning and instructional areas
  • Simulation labs for acute care and clinical examination
  • Specialized classrooms and laboratories
  • An auditorium, study areas, and administrative offices
  • A stunning fountain and common areas for relaxation and socializing

Dean Marie Nolan expressed her excitement about the new building in a LinkedIn post:

“We look forward to welcoming the students of the Conway School of Nursing to our new home this fall! Our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Bill Conway and his late wife Joanne, for whom our school is named, as well as all our benefactors who made this possible.”

The Cardinal Shop, the University's new hub for gifts, collectibles, and spirit-wear, is now open for business.

The Cardinal Shop has a new, expanded location on the ground floor of the Edward J. Pryzbyla Center. The new space features:

  • Gifts and collectibles
  • Decorative essentials for cozy living spaces 
  • University spirit-wear

The Post Office has also moved to a new location, just across from the Cardinal Shop.

Students can pick up packages with their Cardinal Card or a valid photo ID. Packages delivered to lockers will be accessible whenever the Pryzbyla University Center is open.

Expect an automated email notification to your Catholic University account when your package arrives.

Explore these new additions, keep your eye out for other changes and upgrades, and make the most of your campus experience this year!
