On April 9, Campus Ministry hosted former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers, to speak for this year’s final CUA on Tap session. This event was Rivers’ second time speaking at a University event—the first was his address at the 125th Annual Commencement Ceremony in 2014.
Men’s Basketball Marks 25th Anniversary of National Title
Nearing the 25th anniversary of Catholic University’s victory at the 2001 NCAA men’s basketball Division III national championship, this year’s Cardinals were hopeful for a repeat of the national title. The men’s basketball team played Tufts University in the second round of this year’s DIII NCAA Tournament on March 7.
1975 Cardinal Football: The Year that Reignited the Flame
Football is ingrained into the social scene of Catholic University. However, if not for the success of the 1975 Cardinal football team, the sport would likely not exist on campus today.
